Do you look after a small person and would like somewhere friendly to come and play and share some social time?
Our baby and toddler group meets on the Tuesday morning, 9.30am-11.00am. All are welcome!
Toys and activities in the carpeted Chancel, with freedom to roam, toddle or run around the rest of the Nave. Hot drinks for accompanying carers, with juice and toast for toddlers. All toys and activities in the Chancel are safe for tunder threes, but all pre-schoolers are welcome. At half terms and holidays we also welcome siblings and past members.
We have a second play area, the Rainbow corner, at the back of church, which has books and some toys for older children. This is always available for children and carers who come to services, the Wednesday cafe or to other events.
Our Scarecrow Festival, Christmas tree Festival, and of course our Crib Service are very popular with toddlers with the possibility of a drink and snack
in the cafe!
Children continue to feel at home in ‘their’ church as they visit with school to take part in services and events.
Out team currently consists of Jane Langford, Val Archer, Alison Hunt with help from Rob Bradley, Rachel Vickers and Lucy Toyn. We need at least three people each week to set out the toys and refreshments and to talk and play. Extra volunteers are very welcome as we need to cover sickness and holidays to keep going all year round.
