  • Area Confirmation

    30 Nov 2025 11:00AM — 12:00PM

The next Confirmation for our Area has been booked for November 30th. (venue and start time to be agreed)

Confirmation continues what was begun at baptism and celebrates the presence and work of the Holy spirit within us. At baptism others made promises for you to be brought up and walk in the way of the Lord. Confirmation allows you to own these promises for yourself and is a mark of full membership of the church.

In recent years, candidates for confirmation have ranged from Middle school pupils through to 80+ year olds.

If you are interested in exploring Confirmation, there will be an opportunity to do so over a few weeks during September to November. (The time and place of the meetings will be negotiated with those who wish to attend.) We meet together to discuss the basis of our beliefs and how they come together in the Creeds we use in our services. The meetings are an open forum for sharing our own ideas, asking questions and getting to understand the significance and importance of the sacrament of Confirmation.
