Donations for the organ fund. 

After many years of interest in the organ and its repertoire, Jonathan began serious study of this instrument in 2000. Between 2000-2008 he worked as a freelance organist in London churches, also retaining regular positions in South Mimms (2000-4) and later (2004-6) at the historic organ of St Benet Fink in Tottenham. Between 2008 and 2012 he performed many recitals in Casa da Música, Portugal; also in Karlsruhe, Germany and Santiago da Compostela, Spain. In 2010 he was awarded an Associateship of the Royal College of Organists for which he also received the Sawyer and Durrant prizes; in 2012 he achieved the Fellowship diploma from the same institution. Jonathon is the grandson of Ethel and John Gilbert who were residents in Marchington for many years. This will be his second concert at the church. http://jonathanayerst.com
