The Mayor of Uttoxeter, Councillor Sue McGarry is holding a Fairtrade Coffee Morning at Uttoxeter Town Hall

All Proceeds to Fairtrade Uttoxeter & Uttoxeter Town Mayors Charities

Fairtrade Fortnight runs from 24th February to 8th March. There are a number of activities taking place and we will be having a Fairtrade display in church for people to see and be encouraged in going for Fairtrade products...we are a Fairtrade church.

"Fairtrade is a way of helping poor people in the developing world who produce the food, drinks, clothing and other goods that people in Uttoxeter and Britain use. Fairtrade means that these people get a guaranteed income, money to help their communities and can build a better life for themselves and their families. Call in at the Fairtrade coffee morning to help us to help them!"

"Uttoxeter us is a Fairtrade Town. That means it offers Fairtrade goods in many of its shops and cafes and lots of its businesses and clubs support Fairtrade. Fairtrade makes a better life for people who produce the things we all use, so call in at the Town Hall for a coffee and some cake and help us help poorer people across the world."
